Acrostic Puzzle Maker

I had a disk crash which wiped out my source code for this program, so I said, well I'll just give this "beta" version away. It is a fully functional Acrostic Puzzle Design Tool. Just some parts are missing: 1. The fancy printing, 2. The solver part, where you can solve your own or others' puzzles, and 3. The heuristic search for the last 2 or 3 difficult-to-fit words.

Other than that it is a fully functional program and a great aid to puzzle construction. I use it to make puzzles for my dad.

In a few months the final full version will be done and I am counting on it being the "Finest Acrostic Maker in the World." (!)

You can read the Help File to see how to use the program.

To the right here, for example, is the Charpool Window. It shows you how many of each character is left to use up (from your quote). You can sort it by least-common-characters, to help you use up the more rare characters first. When you have all zeros, as in the picture to the right, the puzzle is done!
