In a letter from the very valuable Correspondence section of scalar
scientist Tom Bearden's website, he repsonds to speculation that the
Columbia shuttle disaster may have been a strike by a scalar wave
          interferometer by some unknown party.

Bearden approaches it like the scientist he is and urges at least a
year's study before making conclusions. Amazingly he outlines two
tests that can be made on the debris which would tell for certain if
it WAS. Again, like a scientists, he points out that there is also a
host of accidental things which may well have been the cause. Above
all the experiments MUST be made on the debris to see if there are
longitudinal wave artifacts which would amount to a smoking gun.

However he says the scientist must also consider the possibility
that the disaster was a scalar electromagnetic attack. In urging that
we not jump to conclusions at this stage, he reveals alot about the
          scalar possibility itself.

          TOM BEARDEN:

Don,

I have not been following that area lately, due to health, press of
other requirements, and serious time limitations.

However, extensive weather engineering and control has been very
active all over the U.S. for some time. Some photos of the resulting
intense activity have been posted on my website, and even included in
the recent re-issue of Fer-de-Lance (e.g., see the cover
illustration). This weather engineering activity is probably still due
to the rogue Japanese team (Yakuza and Aum Shinrikyo) that leased
(from the KGB) scalar EM interferometry weapons on site in Russia, in
latter 1989. Since early 1990, that rogue team on site in Russia has
been directly engineering the weather over North America.

Such older scalar interferometry weapons are almost certainly the
ones that then Secretary of Defense William Cohen confirmed in 1997,
          when he stated:

"Others are engaging even in an eco-type of terrorism whereby
they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely
through the use of electromagnetic waves… So there are plenty of
ingenious minds out there that are at work finding ways in which they
can wreak terror upon other nations…It's real, and that's the reason
why we have to intensify our efforts, and that's why this is so
important." [Secretary of Defense William Cohen at an April 1997
counterterrorism conference sponsored by former Senator Sam Nunn.
Quoted from DoD News Briefing, Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen,
Q&A at the Conference on Terrorism, Weapons of Mass Destruction,
and U.S. Strategy, University of Georgia, Athens, Apr. 28, 1997.]

We have also included in the revised FDL a rather eerie strategic
problem just being resolved, at the actual time the Secretary made
          that statement in Georgia.

From time to time, the KGB (under its new name) has to permit the
Yakuza et al. to do something more dramatic, such as shoot down an
aircraft, etc., in order to have the rogue group continue to pay the
lease. The Yakuza has also carried the longitudinal EM wave
interferometry technology back to Japan clandestinely, and is
apparently producing smaller, more portable weapons now in its own
highly hidden facilities in Japan, completely separate from anything
or intention by the Japanese government.

There are two factions in the old KGB (the new Federal Security
Service): (1) the old die-hard Communist faction, still devoted to the
destruction of the United States, and which still controls the
energetics weapons, and (2) a younger, more modern and moderate
faction, which seeks a rapprochement with the U.S., etc. That moderate
faction, under Putin, seeks rapprochement with the West and intends to
become our trusted and dependable cheap oil provider also. Under that
program, Putin has been preventing a very high acceleration of gas
prices at the U.S. pumps by opening all the Russian oil spigots to
keep the supply up there. It is important to recognize that the old
KGB (Federal Security Service) is not a monolith, but is fractured
into those two main camps. It is also important to recognize that the
Yakuza/Aum Shinrikyo hostile activity is not at all a policy or effort
of the Japanese government and the Japanese people. The Yakuza,
however, are a major enemy of the U.S., even more potent than the Al
Qaeda, and they do intend to participate directly in great strategic
strikes for the eventual destruction of the U.S., whenever that time
comes. They see this as extracting vengeance against the U.S. for its
defeat (and shame, in the Bushido concept) in WW II, and for the U.S.
dropping the atomic bombs on Japan. The Yakuza still operates by a
          modified old Bushido code.

So it is quite possible that an unfortunate but normal type of
accident is what destroyed the shuttle; such accidents do happen
unavoidably, in spite of the best intentions and efforts of everyone,
and the shuttles are aging. It is also possible that a little burst of
EM energy deliberately placed on that shuttle, from a Yakuza scalar
interferometer, could have initiated the breakup and catastrophic
failure of the vehicle. Note that in the original Fer-de-Lance I
published a photo of the actual strike of such a weapon, being used in
target practice offset against shuttle lunches at the Cape in latter
          November 1985.
That same weapon also was used in dual fashion in the Arrow DC-8 at
Gander Newfoundland a couple weeks or so later, on Dec. 12, 1985,
resulting in the losses of some 256 lives, most of whom were U.S.
servicemen. The final coup de grace on the Arrow was the strike of
that little fierce ball of EM energy, which burned through the right
fuselage ahead of the engines. The strike of the weapon was physically
observed by eyewitnesses in Canada, and the picture of the hole burned
in the right forward fuselage was printed in Aviation Week & Space
Technology magazine. Numerous decisive indicators did exist on that
          strike.

At least 10 nations (and the Japanese Yakuza) now have such scalar
interferometry weapons, and of course others are working on them.
Tests of such weapons --- by several nations or groups, including the
Yakuza/Aum Shinrikyo --- have been conducted into the very sparsely
settled Western Australia (as a convenient practice range) for some
          years now.

In the case of this terrible shuttle disaster, my first thoughts
and sympathies are for the bereaved families of those crewpersons on
board the shuttle, and for the terrible loss that has occurred to them
in this incident. Truly this nation mourns their sad loss and this
          terrible occasion.

As appropriate under the circumstances, we shall discreetly wait to
see what kind of evidence may or may not turn up as time passes. At
this point it could be either a straightforward normal accident, or a
deliberate and unprovoked kill by a hostile group. We must not
speculate, but wait and see what the evidence shows.

Again, my deepest sympathies are with those grieving families. In
this time, all of us respect their grief and agony and extend them our
          deepest sympathy.

Most sincerely,

Tom Bearden
