| In 1978 Premananda took Shukdev to meet Baba in India at the Ramanathpur ashram. He was at that time enrolled in some kind of college course where he was required to keep a journal under the guidance of a "mentor." Instead his desire to meet a truly enlightened being got the best of him and he went off on a journey to the East. "Letters To My Mentor" were his effort to somehow fulfill this academic requirement in the midst of mind-blowing culture shock and new spiritual experience. |
