| The question was asked: Since when and in what way did you come to be acquainted with Gurudev? | প্রশ্ন করা হলে যে কবে থেকে কিভাবে গুরুদেবের শংগে যোগাযোগ হয়েছিল। |

She answered that she had been initiated way back in childhood, before her marriage. Because Ganga Dees house was near to Molinas house. |
তার উত্তরে বলল খুব ছটবেলায় বিবহের আগেই গাঙ্গাদির দীক্ষা হয়েছিল। কারন গাঙ্গাদির বাড়ী মলিনাদির বাড়ীর কাছে ছিল। |
| And Ganga Dee's mother was initiated by Gurudev so Ganga Dee would also go and see Gurudev. | এবং গাঙ্গাদির মা দীক্ষইত ছিলেন গুরুদেবের কাছে সেসুবত্র ধরে গাঙ্গাদিওগুরুদেবের কাছে যেতেন |
| Gradually her love for Gurudev ecclipsed everything and she became intitiated. | আস্তে আস্তে গুরুদেবের স্নেহের পাত্রী হয়ে এবং দীক্ষিত হন। |
| As Gangadi came of age she became very big-hearted person. | গাঙ্গাদি মানুস হিসেবে অত্যস্ত সরল ও বড় মানের মানুষ ছিলেন। |
| In this way, after a while, she got married, but her mind was totally not in the worldly and domestic life. Gangadee was all the time doing worship after worship. |
এইভাবে চলতে চলতে বিবাহ হলো কিন্তু সংসারে ম্ন ছিল না গাঙ্গাদির সব সময় পুজো আর পুজো

So engrossed did she become during worship that she had no care at all left for worldly life. |
এতো তন্ময় হয়ে পূজো করতেন যেক্ষি (!) সংসারে কোনো কিছুই খেয়াল থাকতো না |

She would even forget to feed milk to her child because only the worship was in her mind. |
বাচ্ছাকে দুধ খাওয়াতে ও ভূলে যেতা বা কাজে মন ছিলো না। |
| This all because Gangadi's mother-in-law had take the Mangalchandi jar with the worship water and thrown it into the pond. | এইসব কারনে গাঙ্গাদীর শাশুডী মঙ্গলচণ্ডীর ঘট নেয়ে পুকুরে ফেলে দিয়েছিলেন |

After that, slowly but surely, the mother-in-law's two eyes went blind. |
তারপর থেকে ধীরে ধীরে শাশুডীর দটো চোখই। |

Since very early childhood she used to go with her mother to the Ramanathpur ashram. Gangadi's mother was an initiated disciple of Gurudev. |
খুব ছোটবেলা থেকেই মায়ের সঙ্গে রমাণাথপুর আশ্রমে যেতেন। দগাঙ্গাদির মা দিক্ষীত ছিলেন গুরুদেবের কাছে। |

In childhood Ganga dee was also intitiated with "mangel chandi" mantra of the mother Goddess "Chandi." She grew into an extremely devotional woman. |
গাঙ্গাদিও ছোটবেলায় মঙ্গলচন্ডীর মন্ত্রে দিক্ষীত হয়েছিলেন। অত্যন ভক্তীমতী মহিলা ছিলেন। |
| So absorbed and engrossed in her worship would she become that she no longer cared for anything else in this world. | এত তন্মায় হয়ে পূজো করতেন যে, সংসারের কোন কিকেই খেয়াল থাকতো না। |
| Gangadi's marriage took place in a village named
Gangadharpur.
From Gangharpur to Ramanathpur the distance is almost 50 kilometers. Gangadi's harvest from farming used to be fairly good. |
গাঙ্গাদির বিয়ে হয়েছিল গাঙ্গাধরপুর নামক একটি গ্রাম। গাঙ্গাধরপুর থেকে রমাণাথপুরের দূরত প্রায় ৫০ কিলোমিটার। গাঙ্গাদির চাষে বেশ কিছু ফসল হতো। |

Taking Gurudev's favorite vegetables and things to cook, she used to go by foot to Ramanathpur ashram without taking any food at all. |
বাবার প্রিয় সবজি ও থারার জিনিষ নিয়ে রমানাথপুর আশ্রমে পায়ে হেঁটে যেত এবং একদ্ম কিছু না খেয়ে। |

After she reached the ashram by all available means she would present the things to Baba and then take his feet and wash them and then she would drink the water from the foot washing. Day after day she used to do this. |
আশ্রমে পৌছের "বারকোষে" বারে সব কিছু সাজিয়ে বাবার হাতে দিয়ে প্রনাম করে বাবার পা ঘুয়ে জল খেতো দিনের পর দিন এরকম করত। |

One day in chaitra or boushakh month, as she was walking in the heat with a heavy bag on her head, at some point she lost her way. She was so thirsty that she was panting as if her chest would burst.

এরকম একদিন চৈত্র বৈশাখ মাসে প্রখর রৌদের তাপ মথায় নিয়ে মাঠের উপর দিয়ে হাতে ভারী ভারী ব্যাগ নিয়ে হাটতে হাটতে

রমানাথপুর যাচ্ছে বিশেষ কোন একটা জায়জায় পথ ঘুরে ফেরে সেই জায়গায় এসে জাচ্ছি চ্ছি জল তেস্টায় ছাতি ফেটে যাচ্ছে। |
| হাঁটতে হাঁটত রমানাথপুর যাচ্ছে বেশেষ একটা জায়গায় গেছে ঘুরে ফিরে সেই জায়গায় এসে যাচ্ছি। | |

She became disgusted with herself and saw a pond in front of her and she tied her clothes around her and was going to jump into the pond, thinking "I don't want to live anymore." |
নিজের প্রতি বিরক্ত হয়ে বেঁধে সামনে একটি পুকুরে জলে ঋাঁপ দিতে যাচ্ছে মনে মনে |

She is thinking "I don't want to keep this life anymore." |
ভাবছে এ জীবন আর রাখব না। |

Thinking she was going to jump one brahmin's son came along
|
যেই পুকুরে ঋাঁপ দিতে যাবে এমন সময়ে একটি ব্রাম্ননের ছেলে এসে বলল "ওমা, তোমার কি হয়েছে গো?" |
| and he said "What's the matter, have you lost your way? "You are suffering, where do you wish to go?" |
"তুমি পথ হারিয়ে ফেলেছো? তোমার কস্ট হচ্ছে তোমি কোথায় যাবে গো?" |
| উঃ রমানাথপুর আনন্দময়ী আশ্রমে। ব্রম্ভন ছেলেটি বলল চলো ওখানে আমার মাসীর বাড় আমি ওখানেই যাবো। তোমাকে পৌছে দিচ্ছি। এই বলে গঙ্গা মাকে সঙ্গে নিয়ে আশ্রমের কাছাকাছি এসে বলল এবার আমি যাই তোমার ব্যাগ নাও। এইবলে ব্রাম্ভন ছেলেটি উধাও হয়ে গেল। | |

আশ্রমে পৌছে যা যা করনীয় সব করে জল খাওয়ার পর বাবা হঠাৎ বলছেন, "নয়ন আজ গঙ্গার কি হয়েছে জিঞেস কর? গঙ্গামা চললেন, "বাবা, আপনি কি করে জানলেন?" তখন গঙ্গামা বুঝলেন ঐ ব্রাম্ভন ছেলেটি ছিল বাবা নিজেই। Gangadi said, "Baba, how did you know that?" Then Gangadi understood that that Brahmin's son was Baba himself. ভক্তের কস্ট (?) দেখে থাকতে না পেরে ছদ্মাবেশে দর্শন দিয়ে ভক্তের বোঝা বহন করে দিয়েছিলেন। |

নোতঃ যখন ইন্টারভিউ নিতে গিয়েছিলাম উনি অসুস্থ ছিলেন ওনার মেয়ে পাব্বতি দে ও নাতনী রুমা দের কাছ থেকে সব তথ্য জানা যায় এবং রমানাথপুর আশ্রমের মদনদা ও নয়ন দি তার সাক্ষ্য প্রমান।
গামা চললেন, "বাবা, আপনি কি করে জানলেন? তখন গঙ্গামা যখন ইন্টারভিউ নিতে গিয়েছিলাম উনি আসুস্ত ছিলেন পবর্বতি পব্বতি |
